A SMSF can have up to 4 members and no member can be the employee of another member, unless they are related. WIth limited exceptions, every member must be a trustee and in the case of a corporate trustee, every member must be a director. Conversely, with limited exceptions, every trustee, or in the case of a corporate trustee, every director of the trustee company, must be a member.
